Manage Plot Hunt (MpH) – Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Manage Plot Hunt (MpH) mobile application (the “App”), including all features, functionalities, and services provided through the App (collectively, the “Service”). The App is owned and operated by Get Outdoor App Tech LLC, organized under the laws of the State of Wisconsin (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not download, install, or use the App.

IMPORTANT: These Terms are for informational purposes and do not constitute legal advice. Consult a qualified attorney to ensure compliance with laws applicable in your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using the App, you confirm you meet this requirement and have legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

The App provides users with features including, but not limited to:

  • Topographic mapping and navigation

  • Storage and management of waypoints and location tracking

  • Photo, video, and content sharing among users

  • In-app messaging

  • Storage of photos, videos, and journal records

  • Access to your device camera, storage, and optionally contacts

  • Social media integrations (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X)

The Service may rely on third-party data sources and we do not guarantee their accuracy or availability.

3. User Accounts and Registration

  • You must provide accurate account information.

  • You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality and all activity under your account.

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

4. User Content

4.1 Ownership & License

You retain ownership of your content (“User Content”). By submitting, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, and perform your User Content for providing and improving the Service.

4.2 Representations & Warranties

You confirm:

  • You have rights to your User Content

  • It does not infringe third-party rights

  • It complies with all applicable laws

4.3 Content Moderation

We may monitor or remove User Content at our discretion.

4.4 Storage

We do not guarantee indefinite storage; backup your data.

5. Permissions and Device Access

The App may require access to:

  • Location services

  • Camera and photo library

  • Device storage

  • Contacts (optional)

Disabling permissions may limit functionality.

6. Social Media Integrations

Use of integrations is governed by third-party terms; we are not responsible for data shared outside the App.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important. Our collection and use of personal information, including AI and location data, is governed by our Privacy Policy [link].

8. Intellectual Property

The App and its content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute the App without permission.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Violate laws or use the App illegally

  • Harass or spam others

  • Share inappropriate content

  • Interfere with the App

  • Scrape or automate access

  • Misrepresent your identity

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

  • Topographic and tracking features are for informational purposes only.

  • AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete.

  • Do not rely on the App for emergency or safety-critical decisions.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED AMOUNTS PAID IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless for claims arising from your use, User Content, or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access at any time. Sections that survive termination include disclaimers, liability limitations, and AI disclaimers.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of [Location].

15. Changes to Terms

We may update Terms; continued use constitutes acceptance.

16. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

  • Paid Services include subscriptions, non-consumable, or consumable purchases.

  • Payments processed via Apple App Store or Google Play; we do not store full payment info.

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled through platform account.

  • Free trials convert to paid subscriptions if not canceled.

  • Refunds handled by platform providers; all purchases are final.

  • Account sharing or reselling is prohibited.

  • Payment does not guarantee AI or App outcomes.

17. AI Features

  • AI generates insights and recommendations based on your data.

  • Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete.

  • AI is provided for informational purposes only.

18. User Consent and Acknowledgment

By using the App, you acknowledge:

  • You have read and agree to Terms and Privacy Policy

  • AI may generate inaccurate information

  • Location and mapping data may be unreliable

  • Paid subscriptions may auto-renew

19. Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement between you and us

  • Invalid provisions do not affect others

  • Failure to enforce rights does not waive them
